SINZ II- The A2Go tour
This is our latest Unitour which takes place in the South Island, New Zealand, on the 10th Anniversary of the original SINZ Unicycle Tour. The A2Go tour takes in the Alps to Ocean Trail, the Central Otago Rail Trail, Roxburgh Gorge and Clutha Gold trail
Dates: 28 Nov – 12 Dec 2017
Cost: Approx NZ$2000-2400 (To be confirmed)
Includes: Accommodation, support vehicle, most meals, helicopter transfer and jetboat ride

Itinerary:
Day 1 (28 Nov): Meet in Lake Tekapo, tour briefing in evening, then stargazing. Tekapo is a dark sky reserve.
Day 2 (29 Nov): 35km. Drive to Mt Cook. Scenic hike, then ride to Mt Cook Heliport. Helicopter across the river (or extended tour up to Glacier). Ride to Braemar Station.
Day 3 (30 Nov): 80km. Cycle along Lake Pukaki to Twizel for lunch, stop at Salmon farm. Then cycle to Lake Ohau.
Day 4 (1 Dec): 55km. Cycle to Omarama, via Clay Cliffs. Omarama hot tubs in the evening.
Day 5 (2 Dec): 67km. Cycle to Kurow via three of New Zealands massive hydrodams- Lake Benmore, Aviemore and Waitaki.
Day 6 (3 Dec): 80km. Cycle to Oamaru. On the way, we see interesting rock formations known as the Elephant Rocks, and visit a Maori rock art site.
Day 7: (4 Dec) Rest day. Explore NZ’s steampunk capital, Oamaru. Watch for little blue penguins in the evening.
Day 8 (5 Dec): 94km Oamaru to Naseby. Nice climb over Danseys pass (935m)
Day 9 (6 Dec): Naseby rest day. Explore the local mountainbike trails, or just chill
Day 10 (7 Dec): 61km. Ride to Ranfurly, the start the Central Otago Rail Trail, finishing in Lauder
Day 11 (8 Dec): 70km. Continue along the rail trail to Alexandra, where we join on to the Roxborough Gorge Trail. We take a 45min jet boat ride and stay at Roxborough village
Day 12 (9 Dec): 73km. Cycle Clutha Gold Trail
Day 13 (10 Dec): 67km. Cycle to Waihola
Day 14 (11 Dec): 50km. Cycle to Dunedin via the coast. Ride Baldwin Street, the worlds steepest street.
Day 15 (12 Dec): Ride the Otago Peninsula
